We teach over thirty languages. Each card shows whether a free interactive lesson is available right now or coming soon as we publish new content.

Pilot languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Arabic) are being prepared for the full free self-paced A1 program. Until that program is activated in production, you can still try the introductory speaking lesson here with no account.

Live lessons with instructors are separate and require a paid plan — they are not included in free self-paced access.

Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The interactive lesson is free to try in your browser. You do not need a subscription or even an account to start. We only ask you to sign up when you want to save your progress in the cloud or unlock the full course catalog.

Why are some languages marked Unavailable?

We list every language the platform is built to teach. A free public lesson is added per language as our team publishes a suitable interactive module. Unavailable only means a dedicated free lesson is not live yet, not that we do not support that language in courses.

What happens to my data?

Before you have an account, your practice session is stored only on your device. After you create an account, you can keep learning with progress synced to your FluentShip profile.

How is this different from a trial lesson with a teacher?

This page is for instant, self-serve speaking practice. For a live human trial, see our bookable trial options from pricing or the trial lesson flow after you are signed in.
